Grants and subsidies

There is public money for your business, but it gets lost among calls, deadlines and paperwork. We tell you which one fits, apply on your behalf and justify it down to the cent, so nobody asks you to pay it back.

How we help

You keep running your business. The paperwork is on us.

We find the ones you qualify for

We match your activity, your workforce, your location and your plans against the open calls, and only put forward the ones that genuinely fit.

We apply on your behalf

We prepare the application, the project report and the certificates, file it on time and answer any requests from the authorities.

We keep them justified

A poorly justified grant is paid back with interest. We reconcile invoices and payments, prepare the justification and book it correctly.

Available grants

The most common types of public support

Calls change every year, but almost all of them fall into one of these groups. Tell us about your case and we will tell you which ones are open.

Hiring and employment

Social Security contribution rebates and reductions, and support for permanent hiring, young people or groups facing greater difficulties.

Start-ups and the self-employed

Reduced contributions for new self-employed workers and programmes supporting new businesses and company formation.

Digitalisation and innovation

Programmes to adopt technology, management software or e-commerce, and for R&D&I projects.

Energy and sustainability

Support for energy efficiency, self-consumption, electric mobility and refurbishing business premises.

Public financing

Loans on favourable terms, participating loans and guarantees from public bodies such as ICO or ENISA.

Internationalisation

Support for selling abroad: trade fairs, trade missions and programmes to open new markets.

What hardly anyone tells you

Some incentives are not applied for: they are claimed in your taxes.

Some incentives have no call and no application deadline: they are written into tax law and claimed when the return is filed. Because we keep your books and file your taxes, we apply them whenever you are entitled to them.

  • R&D&I tax credits in Corporate Income Tax
  • Capitalisation reserve: less tax for keeping profits in the company
  • Levelling reserve for small companies
  • Reduced rate for newly created companies

How we work

Four steps, no surprises

  1. You tell us about your project

What you want to do, how much it costs and when. That, plus your company details, is enough to get started.

  2. We tell you what fits

We review the open calls and their requirements, and tell you clearly what can be applied for and what cannot.

  3. We prepare and file

Application, project report, quotes and certificates showing you are up to date with the tax office and Social Security. On time.

  4. We justify and book it

Once the decision arrives, we prepare the justification, book it and take its effect on your taxes into account.

Frequently asked questions

What are the basic requirements to receive a grant?

Each call sets its own, but one always applies: being up to date with your tax and Social Security obligations. The Spanish General Grants Act requires it, and without those certificates the grant is neither awarded nor paid.

What happens if a grant is not properly justified?

The authorities can demand repayment of all or part of the amount received, plus late-payment interest from the day it was paid. That is why the justification matters as much as the application.

Are grants taxed?

Generally, yes: they are income for the company or the business. Grants that finance an investment are recognised gradually, at the same pace as the asset is depreciated. We take this into account when booking them so there are no surprises in your tax return.

Can several grants be combined?

It depends on each call, which states whether it is compatible with others. In addition, many are «de minimis» aid: a single company cannot receive more than €300,000 of this type of aid over three years. We check this before applying for a new one.

Where are calls published?

All public grants are registered in Spain's National Grants Database (infosubvenciones.es), as well as in the relevant official gazette. There are many and they change often, so it pays to have someone review them for you.

Don't leave public money on the table

Many grants are never applied for, or are lost at the justification stage. Let's talk before the deadline closes.
